Dear Laurent, Apologies for writing in English but my school French is rather rusty ... Anyway, I saw your "Twelve Full Moons" on "Earth Science Picture of the Day" and clicked through to your wonderful site! The pictures and the animations are great! I got goosebumps when I saw your pictures/animations from this year's solar eclipse: We were there, too, in Cirali/Turkey, a small village south of Kemer. We had watched the 1999 total eclipse here at home in Germany, and afterwards we vowed to go and see the next "reachable" eclipse---Turkey, almost 6 years later. We had our small 100/1400 Maksutov with us (we have a bigger one at home) but we have no experience at all in astrophotography so we just used it for watching, and we are very grateful to the photographers :) We watched the October 2004 lunar eclipse in Mérida/Mexico; we were sitting at the Zócalo, using regular binoculars to have a look at the moon, and we borrowed our binoculars to Mexican families, it was great fun! Thanks again for the site, it is bookmarked and I am looking forward to many more visits, looking through your pictures. Many greetings to Bretagne from Bavaria, all the best, Julia and Ralf
