Today, the sky is even more clear than the previous day. That time, I decide to go near the Chapelle de Tronoën, in order to see the Sun set behind the sea. It was really an excellent idea...
The Sun is blinding, even at less than 1 degree over the horizon. Looking throught the viewfinder of my Canon 350D, I try to capture the short time where some pieces of the Sun break away over the sun's disk. The drive of this DSLR is very useful.
Sometime, above the green rim fringing the upper sun's limb, I think I can see blue tint. Once at home, I discover with great excitation that along with the green flashes, some blue flashes are sometime visible in my pictures. But they are very ephemeral, because they disappear usually in the next picture, taken 1/3 s after ! |
