That picture is the first of a nice series taken under very good weather conditions. Due to a huge anticyclone, the sky is very clear since days. And tonight I have decided to try to catch the green flash and the moonrise a few minutes later. The temperature is cool and the sea hotter, so I expect to see an inferior mirage just above the sea horizon.
I'm photographing the Sun setting over the ocean. 4 minutes before it disappears, I see a bright patch of light at the sea surface: it's the inferior mirage giving the feeling that the Sun is reflecting on the water.
By compositing those diffrent pictures, I have created this image showing how the Sun is rapidly forming an omega shape Sun. The first has been taken about 4 second before the last one.
