The earthshine is so nice! Through my little refractor, I see it, delicate and shy, showing itself to those who know how to pick it.
From a more pragmatic point of view, the earthshine is the name given to the part of the Moon normally plunged in the shadow, but lighted by the Earth which reflects the Sunlight. The earthshine is easily visible few before and after the New Moon. |
