In fact, the Milky Way isn't really seen in 3D, but it's clear, with red-cyan glasses, that this gorgeous pine is in the foreground while the Milky Way is in the background. More, I added the constellation of Sagittarius (by Hevelius, crédit U.S. Naval Observatory and Space Telescope Science Institute) in order to give illusion that the drawing is between the pine and the Milky Way.
If you don't like this kind of illustrated photo, let's have a look to this version without the drawing of Sagittarius.
