Jupiter is at the opposition in the Capricorn constellation. Located at its closest distance to Earth, its brightness is powerful, much more than the stars of the Summer Triangulum, Altair (in Aquila), Vega (in Lyra) and Deneb (in Cygnus). On Jupiter left are located Aquarius, the Little Horse (Equuleus) above Jupiter, then Delphinus and Sagitta. Draco is on the far top of the picture. |
