Orion is hanging over the Chapel of Saint-Michel-de-Brasparts. Due to the star filter, the bright stars are nicely drawing the constellations, and it also reveals their color. Then Betelgeuse and Aldebaran are orange, and Capella and Rigel white.
Some moisture have recovered the filter as I was making the photos for the panorama, giving a blue halo around the bright area in the picture upper half.
From bottom to top: Orion (with Lepus under his feet), a part of Gemini, the Taurus and the Pleiades, Auriga, then Perseus and Cassiopeia. |
