France was protected by a vast anticyclone bringing very nice days. Coming back home, I saw this tall sun pillar. I rushed home to get my digital camera and left to find a favourable place to record it. At 3 or 4 km from home, on the verge of the highway from Quimper to Pont l'Abbé, I found the perfect place... with the ideal sun pillar, stretching on 15 to 20 degrees high.
The Sun was already set since a few minutes when I start this series of pictures. |
