Since a few days, an anticyclone gives us a very clear sky. 30 minutes after the sunset (which has displayed a nice green flash), some splendid crepuscular rays appear. In a dark sky, where just the western horizon keeps a deep red color, thoses rays look like a huge fan displayed well behind the horizon.
This is the first time I see such rays so late after the sunset. The view from the summit of the Pointe de la Torche is astounding. Bruno, my brother in law, who accept to drive me to there (I've loaned my car to my sister in laws!) is in the foreground. Thoses rays were its reward. |
