Sun Pillar and Venus |

this morning, I woke up faster than usually, when, looking through my bedroom's windows, I saw a long sun pillar with a bright Venus (presently, the planet it at its maximum magnitude: -4.6) on its right. Taking my tripod and digital camera, I rushed out to take some pictures of those two objects: the bright small one and the faint extended one.
