The light beam of the lighthouse located at the end of the dike of Audierne is drawing a cone in the night. This star field is hard to identify. On the right, the brightest star is Fomalhaut, in Piscis Australis. Above, Aquarius, not the easiest constellation. In the original picture, one can see the elongated patch of the Sculptor Galaxy (NGC253), on the left, a little higher than the dike. |
