At the naked eye, the show is unbelievable: a deep dark disk, as a hole in the sky, encircled by a gorgeous corona. I leave the refractor to rush to the fisheye and recorded the scene.
I haven't enough time, just more than 3 minutes, to enjoy the show: the horizon is orange, like a sunset, but on 360 degrees! Venus is visible just above the horizon (on the right). Mercury too is visible in the original picture, but here, because of the reduction, it isn't visible.
The odd trails with two points are a small tourism plane swirling stupidly in the sky since a few minutes. |
