I waited for it since years! The circumzenithal arc appear to me by by chance, as I leave the supermarket! Approching my car, I see what I believe to be the reflect of a well contrasted rainbow in my windscreen... I turn my head, but I see no rainbow! I look one more time in the windscreen and see it again. I don't understand anything... until I think it may be a circumzenithal arc. I rise my eyes near the zenith and see a colorful arc about 15 degrees from the zenith.
I rush home to get my digital camera but clouds mask the arc. Finally, I see it again and I take a picture.
Then I go to speak to my neighbor to explain him what I've done with the eyes and camera turned to the zenith! |
