The sun has set at 21:54 Local Time behind the thin silhouette of the Ré island (whose some light are visible). Installed on the terrace of a restaurant of Châtelaillon-Plage, I contemplate its setting. Then, I saw the pale glow of a sun pillar in the cirrus above the Sun.
Once set, the Sun pillar has became more contrasted. I took this picture at 22:18, ie 24 minutes after the sunset. |
